Me: Adam, I think that downstairs in the other lego box there will be pieces you need.

Adam: No there's not.

Me: Adam, I'm 99% sure.

Adam (under his breath): 99%. I'm not impressed.

Adam: Mom, I think Jacob should go to school.
Me: No, he's too little.
Adam: But he goes to Primary! I think he should go to school too, just like me.
Me: Adam, he's only one year old, and he can't even talk.
Adam: That's okay--that way he won't interrupt.

Me: (putting him off) I'm not sure if we can do that, that cemetery is up in Salt Lake.
Adam: Mom, it's been a long time since I visited him, I want to go now!
Me: The problem is, dad and I made plans to go to Temple Square tonight as a family.
Adam: (to himself) Hmm. Temple square. . . visiting family. . . dead family. (To me) Mom, I'm going to do eeny meeny miney mo.
