Alex's Wedding, Part 1

In February the whole family gathered for Alex's wedding. I arrived Thursday, and attended the temple with Alex and Leila as they went the first time. My parents were there (of course), Greg and Whitney, Joel and Jaylene, Zach and Sarah, and Matt Steele. Grandma Edie and Gerry also attended.

Everyone else arrived late Thursday night and Friday morning. For lunch on Friday we went to Pudgie's Pizza, and pounded several sheet pizzas and 4 dozen wings, yum!

Safety Fair

We took the boys to the Salt Lake County safety fair, and they got to ride in and on all the vehicles. Heaven for boys.

Blast from the Past: 2012 Culminating Activity

Not a great photo, but a good memory. At the end of the school year each grade has a culminating activity--a combination concert/play/performance.

Cuddle time

This was shortly after Jacob had stitches (he has a big wrap on his finger), and Adam needed to match him.

Reading University Award

Every month one student in each class is given an award for "Reading University"--an independent reading program at school.

Stitches

Jacob got a pocket knife and sliced his finger pretty well. It took 4 stitches to repair. He was totally freaked out by the blood, but once I got that under control he was calm as can be for the stitches.

Spelling Bee

For the second year in a row Adam won his class spelling bee, and went on to compete in the 1-3 grade spelling bee. He got about 5 rounds in, and did a great job!

Me

I am pretty sure this was taken by Jacob. Not amazing, but I have relatively few pictures of myself.

Insect Project

Adam had to make an insect for school. It had super powers, but I forget what they were. Composed of Christmas decorations, straws, and hot glue.

Time to start 2013!
